Back to Character…

The 13th C of Character!

Thank you for allowing me to take a tiny break from character to talk about the character of a wife : ) Now let us dive back into the C character traits study together… And our next trait is…

~Childish

  • Humble and simple approach to many things.
  • You must be childish to enter Christ's kingdom.
  • Be childish when it comes to malice (I Corinthians 14:20).
  • Enthusiasm to enjoy the simple things of life.
  • How will you condescend without being childish?
  • Do you eagerly listen to truth like a child to you?
  • Solomon's attitude brought God's great blessing.
  • Our attitude of being babes will bring blessing.
  • Instead of pretences, let us promote innocence.
  • Every family needs some "love and fun." Recall?
  • Are you as humble to correction as a little child?
  • Compared to God, you are dumber than a child.
  • What dulls your zeal? Pretenses? Stoicism?
  • Why do you resist exhortation to joy? Be a child!
  • Are you too grown up to love Abba Father?
“Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.”

1 Corinthians 14:20

Pretenses: Feigning to be nonchalant or dignified or other excuses to avoid David’s exuberance.

Stoicism: False worship of the “strong, silent” type as having some virtue.
