Galatians 5:22-23

 

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.”

The Fruit of the Spirit

Love

unselfish care for another’s godly benefit

Joy

a heartfelt gladness from knowing the Lord

Peace

sweet contentment from trusting the Lord and the absence of hostilities with others

Longsuffering

patiently enduring adversity without bitterness

Gentleness

tender kindness shown toward others

Goodness

moral purity and benevolence

Faith

confidence God keeps His promises

Meekness

avoiding personal glory or esteem

Temperance

self-discipline of natural passions

  1. I loved this! Thank you! The definition of longsuffering and love were great :) You're not longsuffering if you end up bitter, and true love sure isn't a selfish romance, but a care for another's soul :) Thanks!
