"Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked"
Similar to Suffereth Long, Charity will be abused a long time before ever reacting. It is not easily annoyed or angered; it is not easy to ruffle her feathers.
If we become angry easily, then we prove we are a fool. Fools who are easily provoked are critical of others, they think they need to "teach them a lesson!", they are loudly opinionated, never agreeable, become indignant if corrected because they are "always right".
Love will have a humble response to provocation. Love is humble and therefore overlooks personal offences because she thinks herself to unimportant to worry about.
We need to think before we speak and keep our selves cool inside so we will not be angry quickly and sin in our anger.
*Ohy- a sound I make when convicted by something... in this case the words NOT easily provoked. I want to be good and sweet... not easily angered... LORD help me!
